Oil Change

FULL SYNTHETIC
Starting from $62.95 DEXOS

Lack of proper engine oil maintenance can potentially damage your engine, imposing costly repairs. Below you will find a number of indicators that will help you prevent damaging your engine.

Tailpipe Smoke

Heavy smoke from your tailpipe, perhaps with a blue tinge, is a strong indicator that oil is being burned within your engine. This can be caused by a number of factors. If you are experiencing any unusual tailpipe emissions, see your Certified Service experts right away.
Under-Hood Smoke

One of the most recognizable and dangerous oil warning signs is visible smoke coming from your engine. Oil leaking within the engine compartment burns when it drips onto hot engine parts and can be potentially hazardous. Leaks of this type should be addressed immediately by roadside assistance.

Oil Leaks

One of the most immediate signs of an issue with your oil is a noticeable leak. If you detect a leak, address it with your Certified Service expert as soon as possible. Catching a problem early can save you time and money and prevent a potential roadside emergency.
Oil Life Monitoring Prompt

When the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message displays, service is required for your vehicle as soon as possible. In some cases, the Oil Life Monitoring System might not indicate the need for vehicle service for up to a year. The engine oil and filter must be changed at least once a year and the system must be reset.
Oil Pressure / Level Low

L
ow engine oil pressure or low oil level can cause extreme and costly damage to your engine. If this message displays, safely bring your vehicle to a stop as soon as is practicable. Check the oil level immediately or contact Roadside Assistance to get you on your way or to bring your vehicle to a Certified Service dealer.
No Oil Life Monitoring System

If your vehicle is not equipped with an Oil Life Monitoring System, consult your Service and Maintenance Schedule located in your vehicle Owner's Manual.

Vehicle Health Check

Using clear, easy-to-understand terminology, a Certified Service Consultant then walks you through the results so you know exactly what's going on with your vehicle. Our Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac experts perform a Vehicle Health Check, as required by your Owner's Manual every 12,000 km. It's a comprehensive assessment of your vehicle that helps you protect yourself and your automotive investment. What the certified service experts look for during a vehicle health check:

Tire Wear
You trust your tires to keep you on the road, and us to make sure they're balanced, aligned and in excellent order.

Brakes
The brake systems including lines, hoses parking brake and measurements of the front and rear linings are inspected.

Additional vehicle inspections
This larger visual inspection makes sure the vehicles critical systems are in working order.
Remaining engine oil life
Helpful when approaching your next oil change, this inspection determines the vehicle's remaining oil life percentage.

Wiper blades and glass condition
To avoid possible damage, the windshield is inspected with the front and rear wiper blades, making sure they work when needed.

Vehicle Maintenance

What happens during an oil change? Thankfully, your Certified Service experts are factory trained to ensure that no one knows your Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac better. Watch the videos below to see a variety of auto repair and general car maintenance topics.

Gauthier Tire Centre

Each tire performs different tasks (such as steering in front- versus rear-wheel drive), therefore tires wear at different rates. Tires should be rotated every 8,000-13,000 kilometres to achieve a uniform wear for all tires.

It's important to rotate your tires according to the correct tire-rotation pattern. Doing so will prolong the life of your tires and reduce the risk of sudden tire failure. See the Maintenance Schedule section in your Owner's Manual for additional information about your specific vehicle.
